I tried some street photography in London.

As the title says, lets try some street.

However, my main camera is a little heavy (Nikon Z7ii with a battery pack and a Sigma 24-70 2.8) and after an 8 mile walk and 6 hrs I’m glad I changed.

So now I also have a Nikon Z50 with a 50mm 1.8 and a Sigma 35mm 1.4, and although the latter lens is somewhat ‘lumpy’ it was a very light rig to walk around with.

I toyed with the idea of a Sony 6100 (or 6400) and I some ways it may have been easier to run and guns with - but the Nikon won over.

That all being said I had a great day, it was fun - challenging, but fun. For me it changed my perspective on ‘seeing’, observation if you will. Not only that but the speed that a shot takes also changed.

Get to know your camera springs to mind.

So I had fun, I like some of the images, it was a good start - but there’s so much more to learn.

Take care,

Nick
