Stuff I use – Saddlebackleather.com iPad case.

Ipads are great, they just work.

However, being a gadget, they are somewhat fragile. I have tried other cases, but to no avail – they broke, wore out or became impractical.

Thats when I started looking for a decent case, and came across Saddlebackleather.com

This iPad case is brilliant. Not only does it look great (very steampunk-ish) but coddles the iPad in security.

It’s very easy to use, nothing is masked or un reachable and, quite frankly, is getting better looking as time goes on.

This particular one is fitting of iPad 1, so when the iPad 2 comes out you will have to modify it to be able to use the camera (I don’t see the reason to have to have a camera myself, not when “armed” with an iPhone). Having said that I’m sure saddleback will make a new set of cases to fit the iPad 2.

It has very secure “thongs” that keep the case shut. these also couple up as a way of “tilting” the iPad into more of a “desktop” when used with a wedge.

The wedge I use is made from English Oak and can be purchased from here. (ask them for a wedge twice as wide)

The stylus or pen i use is from Griffin (very good) and can be purchased from here.

All in all this is a very good case and well worth the cost. It does the job, is very comfortable and looks great.
