It’s my birthday today, but the celebration should be for my Mum.

I’ve always thought that, after all she was the one that brought me here.

I feel strange today, this is the first birthday I’ve had without my Mum (alas she died last Christmas) and I miss her terribly – more today than any other.

I said at the beginning of the year that I would create a good one in her name and I hope that I have. But now that I have got to, nearly, the end of it I would like to raise a glass to Mum’s.  Without them we would not be able to have these celebrations and I wouldn’t be able to accept all the gracious wishes that I have received today.

This is lovely. I hope you have a lovely birthday and even though they are gone I’m totally sure that they are still very close. Love to you. jennifer x
Light a candle and show that you care
And you will know for certain that she is there
For in our hearts we hold their love
We don’t need to look up above
The door is open to the departed
Through our will to be open hearted

    Have a lovely day.

I’ve spoken to Dad, i think he’s a bit wobbly today as well – but, hopefully, I ‘m going to try and get down there this weekend – subject to snow.

Thank you Nick for remembering your mum on this day. Although she has departed from us but she taught to be what you are today. She endured labour pains and also looked after you day and night as you grow up. I hope her last years on this earth were blessed and rich. Our mothers do not want any penny from us but they want us to be someone on this earth. You can’t equate any monetary value to your mmm’s love but simply say, “may the Lord unconditionally keep my mom’s soul till we meet.”
    Peace, love and blessings
