Farnham Sculpture Park

This is a brilliant day out.

Tucked away in the woods of Surrey is Farnham Sculpture Park. It’s a bit “grotto-ish” in nature (ironically “in nature”) as you walk around you keep coming across some amazing art, all set within the woods of the park.

Eype – Bridport, Dorset

Just off the Bridport rd, well worth a visit.

Situated on the magnificent World Heritage Coastline and close to the historic market town of Bridport. Eype consists of both Higher Eype and Lower Eype. Lower Eype has access to the beach for fishing, swimming (with care) and fossil hunting.

Eype means “steep place” and many of its buildings can be traced back to the late eighteenth or early nineteenth centuries, but little is known in detail until the Victorian era.

Bodiham Castle

Bodiham castle – If anyone was to draw a castle from scratch, Bodiham is what they’d draw.

Well worth the visit, part of The National Trust.
